Make sure you own the mentioned smart phone, as one shouldn’t try to use this tutorial for other models;
Back-up all personal data and settings. If not, everything will be lost after the wiping process;Charge the device’s battery to 80% minimum;
Back-up EFS folder;

1. Download Android 4.1.2 I9105XXAMC2 for Galaxy S2 Plus ( I9105XXAMC2_I9105OJVAMC1_KSA.zip – 726.3MB );
2. Download Odin 3.07;
3. Extract the two archives you have downloaded on your PC;
4. Turn off your smart phone;
5. Simultaneously press and hold ‘Volume Down’ and ‘Home’ keys while pressing the ‘Power’ button in order to boot into Download Mode;
6. Run ODIN;
7. Connect the device to the computer via USB cable. You should now get the message ‘Added!’ in Odin and the COM port should turn yellow. If not, try reinstalling the USB drivers;
8. In ODIN, click on the following buttons and select the files from the firmware archive you downloaded and extracted:
Click ‘PDA’ and select I9105XXAMC2_I9105OJVAMC1_I9105XXAMC1_HOME.tar.md5 file;
Click ‘Phone’ and select a file with ‘modem’ in its name (if there is no such a file, leave this section blank);
Click ‘CSC’ and select the file containing ‘csc’ in its name (if there is no such a file, leave this section blank);
Click ‘PIT’ and select the file with .pit extension (if there is no such a file, leave this section blank);
9. In ODIN, check boxes ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F. Reset Time’. If you have selected a .pit file, also check the ‘Re-Partition’ box;
10. Press ‘START’ in Odin;
11. After the completion of the flashing process, the device will restart and the USB cable can be unplugged safely. That’s all!
